What a pleasure to do it with a cellphone. Here we have power. And, this is a “free individual”. It’s not without reason that I chose a cellphone as a free individual “born free and equal by nature”. So then, we have an individual born free and equal by nature, comes power, it crushes them. So, all the contractualist theories, wherever in the political spectrum, be they: right-wing, left-wing, anarchism. All the “isms” from Locke until… until Foucault, believe that if I lift power, I have a free individual uh… freed from power. And the big Foucauldian discovery from the reading of Nietzsche is that, this individual that we are invited to free, is already a subject produced by power. And power is a relation, not an object, not a thing, and not something that we can have. Because power… There is power, and there are the institutions. There is power as a relation, and the deployment of force. They aren’t the same thing.
